Our dog loves this stuff. His coat is so very shiny and I'm sure this helps. He will be 14 in March 2020 and he still acts like a puppy. The only downside is that I ordered the large dog size of kibbles versus the small size. He still asks for it every night so he's not complaining.

Ideal protein is 20%.This food is 19%maybe.Which I cannot understand,since most Vet's recommend it.My 12 year old Catahoula mix is suffering from Cancer,so I bought this hoping to get some more weight on her and for the added nutrition.So,far she is eating this.I am putting my faith in the quality of the product.It has been around for years and I have never heard anything negative.I would recommend this food.

A vet originally recommended Hill's Science Diet foods to me and I have raised five dogs on it. All have thrived on it. It is not prohibitive in cost and has done well by all my pups. And as the years have gone by, the brand has evolved to where there is a food for just about every type dog. I will continue to use it in the future.

My senior dog with a heart problem eats this right down. I got it because there is no sodium added or listed on the ingredients list. She loves it and so does her brother who doesn't have a heart condition. I easily hide her heart pill in this food..and she prances around like she is still a puppy. I thought I'd buy it by the case to save money...and here it is a bit more expensive per can here.

December 20187 months later she is still rocking the Science Diet. She definitely has more energy and loves walking to the dog park. But her most favorite place is still her orthopedic bed. �May 2018Recently my Veterinarian recommended that I change my 12 year old furrbabys food. We purchased a small bag of Hills Science Senior Dog food. She loves it just as much as she loved her Blue Buffalo! So we purchased the large bag. I am very concerned about what she eats, so since it has great nutritional value. Keeping my fingers crossed that she will continue to love it.
