I was shocked when I put this in my cat's bowl today. He stopped eating his wet food and started eating this instead. Wow! I have never seen him stop eating his wet food for the dry. I leave out the dry food because I only give him limited amounts of wet food. In other words, my cat seems to love this food, but it is only the first day. Perhaps I can transfer him to a dry food only diet...wouldn't that be nice. I just can't believe how successful this food is and I would recommend trying it.I will update my review if things change. You can feel free to read my other reviews as I am an honest and fair reviewer. If this was helpful to you, please select the helpful button below. Thanks very much.

I feed my cats science diet sensitive stomach and I also feed them the hairball formulation a few days a week. It has cut back on finding piles of cat vomit a few times a week to maybe once every few weeks. The sensitive stomach kibble is very small and can be eaten as it is. One of my cats is 17 years old and I worried about him choking on the large pieces of hairball formula, since cats don’t chew much, they just swallow. When I feed the hairball formula I put about a cup of the dry kibble in a ziplock baggie and then I pound it with a hammer a little bit so it breaks it up into tiny pieces and even a little bit of powder. They lick it right up and eat it so much better than when I originally tried to feed it in the huge pieces. Just food for thought if you are worried about your cat swallowing this food whole.I also noticed more solid waste in the litter box the day after I feed them this food. It works very well to keep them regular.I’ve been immensely impressed with all of the science diet products and have a 17-year-old cat, who has the health and vitality of a cat half his age to show for it.

Our very long-haired senior tabby started having worrisome daily hairball problems early this summer. We switched his dry food to Science Diet Adult 7+ Hairball Control and the daily vomiting stopped. He still has hairballs, though not nearly as often, and his coat feels much better. He's always preferred fish-flavored food, but he made the switch easily and hoovers it with the same enthusiasm. We plan to keep him on this food. He also gets wet food, so we gave him the canned Science Diet Hairball Control fish flavors until his hairball problem improved. Now, we alternate the SD canned with other favorites.

Definitely has helped with my pukey cats from regurgitating food so often. Went from another premium brand (Dick Van Patten's), and it's been great. Still get some hairballs up now and then, but it used to be pretty bad with food being brought back up regularly between the two cats (yes, both are pukey). I would say the amount we have to clean up went down about 85%, so it made a major difference. Try it if your cats regurgitate their food a lot. However, all this coincided with the free feeder (gravity) I've been using. Finally figured out I didn't want a lot of food in the tray and have only a little come out at a time from the container above.Ps. One is a short haired Tabby, and the other is a medium/long haired black cat.

Buttercup was just a wee kitten when I adopted her. Or rather, she chose me ... she fell asleep in the palm of my hand and I was hooked. Unfortunately, she developed bloody, explosive diarrhea that wouldn't go away. Vets had NO idea what to do for her. I tried all different powders, liquids, wet foods, dry foods ... you name it, I tried it. I just wanted her to feel better and have a better life. She has been on this food for almost a year and she is a different kitty. No more horrible, bloody poo stuck in her fur, no more crying out when she goes to potty, her coat is so soft, and she has energy like a kitten again. If I could give this 10 stars, I most definitely would.
